About Us

Sarah Kim Ph.D.

My name is Sarah Kim, and I am an acupuncturist and practitioner of Oriental Medicine.

My journey into the world of healing didn’t begin with a straightforward path, but rather with an evolving passion for health, wellness, and the ancient traditions that have sustained human life for centuries.
I’m fortunate to hold both a Master’s degree in Acupuncture from the Eastern School of Acupuncture and a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from American Liberty University. These educational milestones have shaped who I am today as a compassionate and dedicated healer.

Education and Training

My formal journey began at the Eastern School of Acupuncture, where I earned my Master’s degree in Acupuncture.
It was during these years that I truly began to understand the profound impact that acupuncture and Oriental medicine can have on the body.
I was trained in both the theoretical and practical aspects of acupuncture.
But my thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there. I knew that to provide the best care for my patients and to continue growing as a practitioner, I had to go further.
I earned my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from American Liberty University, where I expanded my understanding of advanced diagnostic techniques, herbal medicine, and comprehensive treatment strategies.

My Philosophy and Approach to Healing

As an acupuncturist, my approach to healing is centered around the belief that the body is a
complex yet deeply harmonious system, capable of healing itself when properly supported.
Whether it’s alleviating chronic pain, reducing stress, improving digestion, or boosting energy, my goal is always to restore balance and promote wellness through natural and holistic methods.
I approach each patient as a unique individual, with their own set of needs, emotions, and lifestyle. Every treatment plan I create is personalized, considering the mind-body connection and treating the root causes of their ailments.

Acupuncture: The Perspective of Preventive Medicine

From the perspective of preventive medicine, acupuncture is more than just a treatment for existing illness—it is a holistic approach that helps maintain balance, strengthen the body’s natural defenses, and prevent disease before it occurs.

Acupuncture works by stimulating specific points on the body to regulate the flow of Qi (vital energy) and blood. When this flow is smooth and balanced, the body functions harmoniously, enhancing immunity, stabilizing mood, improving circulation, and promoting overall wellness.

In preventive medicine, the goal is to identify and correct imbalances early—before symptoms develop into disease. Regular acupuncture sessions can help reduce stress, improve sleep, boost energy, and strengthen organ function. By maintaining internal harmony, acupuncture supports the body’s innate ability to heal itself and adapt to physical or emotional challenges.

Ultimately, acupuncture serves as a proactive health strategy, not only relieving pain or treating conditions but also preserving long-term well-being through prevention and balance.
